The American Red Cross Lakeland Chapter responded to a duplex fire that occurred around 11:30pm on Monday, January 19 on the East Side of Green Bay, affecting three adults.
Two American Red Cross Disaster Volunteers assisted the one family (consisting of two adults) with lodging, monetary assistance for immediate clothing needs and food, comfort kits (which include soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, washcloth, comb, facial tissue, deodorant, razors, shaving cream and lotion) and home-made quilts.
The other client affected was given a comfort kit and quilt and is currently staying with friends.
