Join downtown neighbors, businesses and American Red Cross volunteers for annual downtown cleanup!

GREEN BAY, Wis.-Downtown Green Bay and Olde Main Street invite volunteers to their annual spring cleanup this Saturday, April 25th from 9 AM until noon to help celebrate Earth Week. Volunteers from the Downtown Neighborhood Association, downtown business community and American Red Cross are joining together for the event and ask other interested volunteers to join them sweeping sidewalks and picking up litter in the Downtown and Olde Main Street Districts.
Interested volunteers should meet at the Hotel Sierra parking lot (333 Main Street) at 9 AM. Garbage bags and gloves will be provided but volunteers are asked to bring brooms and window washing tools if available. Volunteers will be given free coffee compliments of A Better Footprint and a discounted lunch at Erbert & Gerbert’s. The American Red Cross coordinated a group of volunteers for the event from the Red Cross Club, Tri-Beta and the Social Work Club. The event is sponsored by the Downtown Neighborhood Association, The Plant People, Olde Main Street, Inc. and Downtown Green Bay, Inc.
Downtown Green Bay, Inc. is a non-profit Business Improvement District (BID) organized in 1997 to preserve and to improve the social and economic climate in downtown Green Bay. Olde Main Street, Inc. is a Business Improvement District (BID) created in 1999 to provide leadership and management for the revitalization of a 25-block area in and around Main Street, near downtown, Green Bay, Wisconsin.
