The American Red Cross Lakeland Chapter, serving Brown, Door, Kewaunee, Marinette, Menominee WI, Menominee, MI, Oconto, and Shawano Counties has a position available for a well organized, detail oriented individual to facilitate the specific aspects of the Community and Authorized Provider Programs within the Health and Safety Services Department.
Key responsibilities include the recruitment and retention of volunteers for community health and safety training classes and presentations, scheduling instructors and preparing training classes, assisting with sales and marketing promotions to gain new community and authorized provider customers and retain existing customers, coordinating the maintenance of program offerings, and coordinating the supplies and equipment for program instructors.
The ideal candidate must be dependable, highly motivated, detail oriented, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and must be able to multi-task. The candidate should also possess a mathematical aptitude, the ability to work cooperatively and efficiently as a team member and alone at times and also must also feel comfortable with public speaking.
Qualifications include minimum associate degree in sales, marketing, business, or related field, or a minimum of two years of related experience, at least one year of program coordination or customer service management preferred, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with SABA data management software is a plus. Experience in working with volunteers is desirable.
The position is full time, Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm with occasional evening or Sat engagements.
